Description
The "Path of ochres" in Roussillon, in Vaucluse (Provence - France).
It's an incredible place where contrasts of colors are liked !
They are old yellow-earth quarries, which one amongst other things uses for the construction of the houses in this region. One calls this place "Provencal Colorado", and for those which know the Colorado they had no doubt... the lifelike of the forms and colors is striking.
Well on dimensions are very different, in France it is not also large, but quite as pretty.

Well my friend, what can I say......stunning!!! That bottom one is simply amazing. It has alot of natures beauty in it. Amazing rocktextures, blue sky, green pinetrees. I like this "collage" alot!!! Gives hope that summers nearby and closing in every day. Thank you for that Nathalie!!! #:O)

As a Coloradan, I can confirm that they do look a lot like parts of Colorado, or possibly Utah. I don't usually think of scenes like this in Provence! A beautiful capture!
