Description

In 1996, when I was alone, before to meet Giancarlo, I went for 2 months in Greece, and discovered the Cyclads Island, and Santorini. I really fall in love with this island. I was there in june, before the tourist invasion, and there was on the island just the greek who lived there. It was wonderfull. It's an island of contrast between the dark of the volcanic earth, the white and blue of the houses, and the sky. A dreamed place to make photographs. And also a wonderful place to stay alone, in peace in a wild place. That's a church of the village of Thira, the most important village of the island, at the top of it. Thank you for all you comments. Nathalie

Yes I totally agree with you: Santorini (and Mykonos) is really worth a visit. I've been twice there and really loved it. The white houses with its blue windows, always windy, superb seafood, perfect lighting, nice small alleys, fisherboats and so on and on... Its really recommended to visit ! Thanks for sharing and bringing those memories back to me Nathalie !

A beautiful alabaster church. Sounds like a marvelous place to visit, rest, and be at peace.
