Description

- Scotland, Dalmally - What else could I do on a rainy sunday? I visited churches and graveyards! LOL This is the Glenorchy Curch in Dalmally. The contrastful white building is not to be surveyed in this landscape. It was build in the fashionable Gothic Revival style and the result is an outstanding building of great architectural interest. The main building is octagonal in design with a fine tower. The building has a lovely setting overlooking the River Orchy with views to Ben Cruachan (with the dam I posted) and Ben Lui. Nice POV - it makes it look like this church is a bright spot nestled in the middle of a forest. The old gravestones add some extra interest in the foreground. Very nice!

Churches and graveyard on a rainy day sounds very cheery......... an excellent time to capture them, so i expeerienced.....the lights are just too perfect for the scene as is evident from the pic you posted here..........Cheers!!!!!

Poor girl, hanging out with the souls departed. Love the shape of this church and the weathered look of it and the tombstones. Looks like it rains a lot there. Wonderful capture.
