Description
The Way Back. My truck is parked straight ahead (about an hours walk). There is no trails to find your way back. Just cracks and holes. I'll be back a couple more times before our night attempt. Aloha and thank you for viewing

what a journey!!! looks scary to walk on! i'd be afraid of falling in those cracks and breakin' another bone!!!! :) wonderful capture of this long trek back!!! can't believe this terrain is in the US...let alone on Earth!

Incredible world! And with no landmarks not easy to find your way! Black ropes of stone, lava in all forms, it's so beautiful!
