Description

This village in which I live, sits on the very edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and from here southwards the land is flat for mile upon mile. Travel in the other direction and it is hilly for mile upon mile, so we have the best of both worlds. There looks to be the usual excellent standard of photgraphs in the Photography - Nature/Landscape gallery, so I will have to have a look around sometime later today. See you soon. Best wishes, Dave.

You've managed to capture some nice detail here - the flying bird and a curious machine in the distant field, excellent!

Gorgeous. I agree with Moss, all the little details are what really makes this interesting!

Beautiful rural composition, a bit hazy but that adds to the mood of ease and pastorality. Well done!

Very nice perspective (sorry: POV) I like the two trees in the middle, between the houses, that look like if they were kissing themselves, posing for the photographer.

Nice to meet you, escafeld, looks like we are almost neighbours, in counties at least. Excellent photo. I'm trying to work out what the bird is, centre bottom-third. White head, dark wings, long tail. Magpie maybe? Don't you just get fed up with telegraph & power lines in the UK though! 'bout time they buried them all underground, I say! Cheers Steve
