Description

- Scotland, Dalmally - The close up of a gravestone was a must. They were an eyecatch and a symbol of time with all the lichens and moss and its impressive textures. Thanks for your interest and all appreciated comments! ;o)

Love the colours and textures, and also like to wander around graveyards though NOT at night lol sometimes the inscriptions tell amazing stories :)

Very cool old headstone. I have seen one of my ancestors headstones and his is not that covered and he died in 1860. Very historical indeed.

Lichen. A sign of an unpolluted atmosphere, apparently. I have photos of some very unusual gravestones. It's not morbid fascination, but a part of my hobby, photographing the churches of Lincolnshire. 189 so far. Have you got one of the church Rita?
