Description


47492 'The Enterprising Scot' on a mail train at Reading on 25-Jun-91. This locomotive was introduced in September 1964 and named in September 1986. Scanned in from a 6x4 print. Camera: Minolta SRT101. Film: 200ASA Kodak Gold. Exposure: 4secs at f4 (as recorded by the digital clock - hence the title.) Colour correction in PSP.

Well all i have to say is that you have a excellent pix, cant get it to any finer. I to am fond of subway settings you might want to take a look under "Carera RDS" and look at a piece called 9 to 5 it's my 3-D animation version of your shot.

oh the wonderful days of film..use to use a minolta.. excellent capture full of detail and atmosphere.. superb...is it the mail train:) excellent..((( ps remember falling asleep on the train from swindon to slough..and ended up on paddington station at 11-30pm by station guard sighes )))

What a wonderful shot! I love the POV and comp, the lights on in the front engine and being able to see in. I've never been to a subway or train station and this really takes you there.
