Beauty! We never get to see that sort of thing around here....well...actually, last February (2004) we had 3 inches. The most snow we had in 18 yrs! It only lasted one day and the next day it was 84F. Texas is like that! I like your picture. Good compo and POV. :o)b

I really like how birch trees show in a photo.A good peaceful shot. We should do a forum post on images taken in the snow. I find when I get the blue it looks a bit unatural.

sigh This is gorgeous, Andreas!!!! the trees look so "fluffy" for lack of a better word, and i like how they look silvery!! when i look at it, i have this urge to decorate it with Christmas bulbs and lights!!!! i'd love to see a picture of this at night under moonlight. bet that would be beautiful!!! shadows here are wonderful and that sky in incredible!!! looks like a great place to have a snowball fight!!!! splat gotcha!!!! :) fantastic capture & congrats on your hot 20 seat!

Ciao Andreas, I never weary myself withe your landscapes of winter and snow... It is an unceasingly new pleasure ! Oh what a lovely, LOVELY wintery scene. Its absolutely gorgeous. We were supposed to get hit by a major snow storm last night thru Saturday, but it all went south of us :-( Was hoping to get some snowy shots myself with my new cam arriving TODAY! :) Take care, have a great weekend!
