Description
Two sisters huddle in the dark - cold, afraid, caged - looking out at the looming stone walls of the Kindred fortress above them. Orc troops move busily through the grounds while on their morning duties, kicking dirt down into the hole that has become the sisters' prison.
"Don't worry, little one," Lisa says to her little sister, trying to sound soothing. "Simone will come back for us."
Eve looks up at her big sister, hopelessness in her eyes.
"She just hasn't been able to find what the orcs are looking for. But when she gets it she'll hurry straight back and rescue us. You'll see."
Eve turns away. She looks back up at the iron bars that hold them underground.
"She will come back," Lisa mumbles to herself. "She has to."
