"So close your eyes and set your will
For in the darkness of your mind
The shadows dance not far behind
A memory, where you will find
A burning light that shines on still."BIOI'm a 27-year-old graduate student of Sociology at Temple University. I love painting as a hobby, but these days I'm finding more and more advantages to creating images on the computer-- less mess, no smelly paint thinner, and an undo button for mistakes! ;) For now I'm exploring what I can do with 2D programs, but I may later move to 3D. Please feel free to check out my work!

I think it looks great. I love how colorful it is, and the idea is very sweet. =) Vexxis

This was the original text that went with the picture in the contest entry-- my own little fake news article explaining what's going on in the picture: 02.14.2205-- Love Amongst the Stars: In Space, No-One Can Hear You Propose? Just outside the Painted Nebula, would-be best man Derrick Green skillfully pilots a SkyPainter for his buddy, astronaut Robert Larson, who is taking a spacewalk to remember with long-time girlfriend and colleague Krista Lynn (pictured above). Asked afterwards if getting down on one knee in zero-G was difficult, Rob laughed and said, Yeah, but she said yes, so it was totally worth it! A May wedding is being planned.
