Description

Decided to give the self-portraits a miss tonight after being told "That's a bit egocentric, isn't it?"..and all from a guy who's spent the last 25 years writing songs about how awful his comfy middle-class upbringing was. Still, it doesn't take much to germinate the seeds of self-doubt when you're already wallowing in the Bog Of Insecurity. So, for a change, here's : My Cat. Ta-da ! I'm a lot like my cat, Jack. We both have a certain genetic leaning towards the chubby, we both look intimidating and yet are basically scared of most things and we both only really trust one person. This pic is the sight that greets me every morning. Jack and I are both exercising patience right now. I'm waiting for Mr Middle-Class Moron to move out, he's waiting for food. We're both VERY grumpy and vocal about the situation. Michelle x

Dear DarkStarBuring, Your picture is beautiful. I love it. Your self portraits are very nice too and your eyes show display a mysterious and curiousness about them. I am sure your heart is beautiful, too. Which is THE most important thing. I get shocked sometimes when this 43 year old person who's 21 in her spirit and 65 in her bones...I ask myself, "Who are you?" I am so grateful for the camera. It helps me forget my body and I feel free through the lens and I breathe deeper than I do at any other time. I feel the beauty of nature in me as I snap the pictures. And if spring don't get here pretty soon I'm gonna need a face lift!:-)

That is a great pic of a nice puddytat. Maybe you are my sister-in-law because my oldest brother always whines about his middle-class upbringing and he's almost 50.
