Is that the ever illusive artichoke flower? Kinda looks like one down near the base there then developes into a kind of venus fly trap/clam thing near the top. Quite the interesting nature walks. Tis finally that time of year and not a moment too soon, I'm ready to burst myself. Fine shot love, forgive my banter. I cannot find a thing about it that doesn't say "Pro". ;)

well cropped for having that vertical framing and the soft light allows us to aprecate the texture. But with a few milimeters more of dof it would be better
