Description

This is not Mojo, This is not Terragen, neither Art Matic - this is Vue
Just one procedural terrain and one water plane on this scene
Could do better with shore effect - but I was just designing the terrain, and remembered about shore effect after I made the render.

Just wanted to share with you what can be done with Vue 5 procedural terrains.

Already lot of people here have Vue 5 Esprit, and I am a little bit surprised that just few scenes with procedural terrains were displayed.

Just try it!

TroC (czarnyrobert)

PS. Sorry I did not enabled comments as I considered this scene just a simple example - nothing very complex here - just one terrain - but as I get numerous messages from people willing to put their comments.... here they are - sorry - will enyable comments next time even for "sample" scenes :-)

Great procedural terrain, but more great the texturing that you have made on the plain terrain. I like very much the water transparency also. Bravo again!

Very interesting work - it good to see examples of the techniques (Oh, where is my copy?). I've seen drowned real landscapes like this in Utah and Ariz.

Maybe you could say a little about how you created the terrain?

Are you SURE its not terragen ?? :) This looks VERY good. Looks like terragen has some serious terrain competition. This is excellent.

Oooookay, packs Terragen 1 away after viewing this panorama I see what's basically possible with Vue (although not being able to realize it)... now the Vue developers still have to improve their cloud engine until total naturalism (or total virtual world development) has been achieved. Everything is excellent here - texturing, lighting and mood and terraforming!
