Description

Here is another example of Vue procedural terrains. This time not more hundred objects in this scene - just one ;-) but all made from scratch here - the atmosphere with new clouds made using new fractal functions - great as they look detailed even with high zoom values. New complex material for terrains, and one brand new procedural terrain obtained from mixing 3 basic fractal noises.

Sometime it is refreshing to made such simplistic scene - especially after my last "Silent Spring" scene - it was too much - I don't know if I will ever try to make something more complex, now I'm experimenting with procedural terrains trying how far it is possible to go with this new technology.

Happy Easter to all (concerned) !

:-)

An impressive terrain. I've never been able to achieve anything as grand as this one. What impresses me most is the textures. How do you make them look like that? Bravo!

The terrain is good, not so realistic like terragen terrains (because the Vue 8 bit low terrain-resolution). The textures are not realistic, but the displacements are perfect! In the background the terrain is a little too repetitive. Nice work!
