tips? huh?- hardly think you need any !WOW i think you have mastered this macro and it cant get MUCH BETTER ... this is how Amber is produced i believe... lovely .. as sharp as it gets and gets a vote from me!

Hahah, I agree, there is no need to ask. This is beautiful as it...quite a good macro if you ask me...no need for a better camera. I love the textures of the bark and moss, but the face with the one closed I I see in the center sap is amazing!

Fantastic and beautiful. Look at the colours of the bark, they are amazing. Also the 'drops' are great, they show interesting reflections. I like the POV and crop/framing. I would like to see more of this tree/bark.

There is not much to be said, other than its a fabulous picture. The problem with all macro shots is depth of field, but here I think you have got it spot-on, well done, excellent!

I love the colors. I never thought you could see so many. Whenever I look at pine bark again I will think of this image. It will "stick" with me always.
