Description

Kalapana Moon. After capturing pictures for my last post "Friendly Neighborhood" , darkness came upon me soon. I was equipped with a flashlight but the walk was a little more slower. Walking on black lava rocks is a little more risky especially at night. My navigators guide back to my truck was the moon. Sorry I don't have any other pictures of this lava flow yet but I give you the moon from Kalapana. Happy Easter. Aloha and thank you for viewing. (find the rabbit?)

First full moon of spring, it must have been a bit eerie walking on the lava by the moonlight!!! Have a Happy Easter!!!!! ;)

one of the best moon shots i've seen yet! the color and detail are fantastic! ahh..one of these days i have to get an adapter for my telescope so that i too may capture the moon!!! your lava flow shots are amazing but being a moon child i have to say i love this one!!! outstanding work/capture!!! happy Easter boss!!!

You have a FLASH! Wow! 384,000 kms and you light the ENTIRE moon! ;) Impressive capture! How did you get it this big!? It's certainly an equivalent of a 1,000 mm telelens!
