I'm a graphic designer from Finland who teaches using computers in designing, and whose favourite areas are vector graphics and typography and painting as well digitally as with traditional methods. - All said in one sentence...
I read a lot, I smoke a lot --- I'm not anymore young, beautiful and slim;-)BIOI graduated at Helsinki University some 20 years ago as M.A. - main subjects philosophy, aesthetics and Finnish language and Finnish literature. As a philosopher;-) I couldn't have a permanent job... I have been a teacher in many places; teaching both children and adults.
I am a self-made graphic designer and computer aided designing teacher. My very best interest lies - besides the pictures - on typography, in theory and in practise. I work as a free lancer.
I have the home page of my own - but unfortunately they are all in Finnish. But the adress is not a secret: www.valt.helsinki.fi/blogs/titta
All my studying materials are there - I teach quite a lot at Helsinki University.
Personal life: I live with my big black dog, Kirppu (in English "a flea") in Helsinki.

like the strong colours and the words ... surprising how quickly tomorrows disappear

Excellent and perfect. Perhaps the answer lies in making the todays count ... :)

I love the richness of the colours you used in this image Titta, they seem so full of promise just as all those tomorrows do! The spiraling composition captures perfectly our entangled perception of time too, the figures appear so caught up in reaching for the unattainable they seem almost oblivious to the wonders of the present moment! Excellent concept & image for the theme, I really like your poem too ; )

This is beautiful! I love the poem, it has a sense of logic to it that makes it really charming, and the image is really strong with the gold. The gold makes it rally all fit together well (the poem and image of course). I like this one a lot. Heather

Lovely Poem! Brilliant Artwork! Love This One!Synapse
This is really something Titta hugs, the colours are perfectly chosen for a stylish and dynamic piece. The two sides of the lady merge convincingly, it makes me think of the way our minds constantly flit between the future and the past, rarely settling on the Now for any length of time! One of your best to date?

Oh Titta, I just love the colors of this, they sparkle! The composition is wonderful, Bev said the right words as usual. Great poem to, it made my brain work :-)

Strong visual. It creates a sort of spatial vortex for me that illustrates time in a very unique way. The technique is very acomplished also, like it a lot!

Grasping at the future, the present slips into an unretrievable past; we become perplexed in this slippery game. Beautifully conceived and painted, titta.
