Description

Happy Easter Sunday to all!! To those who may not know, today Christians celebrate the empty tomb. Jesus was crucified, but death could not hold Him. His disciples went to attend to His body (because they could not do so during the sabbath, so His body had been temporarily placed in a borrowed tomb, blocked by a heavy stone) and the Angel of the Lord told them, "He is not here! He is Risen!" The photo is of a replica of the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, built here in Orlando, Florida as part of "The Holy Land Experience", a historical park illustrating life and places during biblical times.

Incredible words, "He is not here! He is Risen!"! A foolishness to those who do not believe but a great truth for Christians! Happy Easter, Ken!

This is a superb sight for us Christians! I love the angle you took this at. Even though Easter has passed by the time I see this, it is still a wonderful thing to see. God bless you ! :)

...But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the Grace of God He might taste death for everyone. (Hebrews 2:9) Superb photography and reminder of His Grace!

Great Picture! Funny thing... Christians never celebrated easter while Christ was there, neither before his time. But what do I know... Thanks anyway :)
