Description
This is one of the characters that my wife and I write short stories about. His name is Heller Matisste, and he is a cleric of he goddess of pleasure.
----------------------
He was the chosen of Sharess. He wondered the lands with his companions bringing joy, and genuine pleasure to those who, until they met him, knew only grief. He sacrificed that place of holy honor, and all its glorius gifts to his own goddess, to save the life of a woman he loves, but has never, nor can ever have - his own brother's wife.
Heller's spirit, which had been coupled with that of a goddess from birth, was utterly alone. Her ethereal fingers no longer reached from the heavens to twine his curly hair. Her breath, the essence of perfect warmth, no longer whispered in his ears, or warmed his skin.
And yet, as Byago took Seluna into his arms, her soul and body alive with renewed spirit, Heller knew he had chosen right.
Sharess's last words to him, her eyes aflood with saltwater, Heller's internal companionship now severed from her, were...
"Though you may no longer be my chosen... I will still always... choose... you."

By the way. This M3 with a modified Ghost of MacBeth texture. I haven't got a clue where the background came from. The hair is Poser 5 hair. I rendered it with the default light settings on Poser for a faster render, and then did the postwork lighting in Photoshop with layer overlays, dodges, etc.,

While striking, the picture comes in second to the writing. Nice work.
