Description

It's the early 1500's. The Age of Exploration has just begun in earnest. It is a time of great efforts, great rewards--and frequent death. The young woman on the dyke has been married less than four months and is two months pregnant. She will not see her adventurer husband for two or more years, and there is the very real possibility that she may never see him again. She is barely sixteen years old. As she stands on the dyke, hoping for one last glimpse of her husband, she prays for his safe return. Credits: Figure: Sarah for Dina V figure. Hair: "Haughty Curls V3" by AprilYSH. Sky: Jonathan Allen. Water: Jonathan Allen. Ship: "Sea traveler" a wonderful model inside and out by kaol. Dyke: Net freebie; again, I can't locate the name. SeaGulls: Also, a Net freebie that I don't remember who made. My thanks to all of the above--known and unknown. And thanks to you, the viewer for looking. Regards, Jeremy

Very nice. The sky is so sweeping. I like how it dominates the picture...really makes you feel how vast and deep the ocean is.
