Description

Canon EOS 10D, Canon 100-400L IS lens at 400mm ISO 800, 1/200sec at f5.6 I love the way birds ruffle their feathers because it lets us get a closer look at the texture and colors. I caught this one exactly as I had envisioned the shot.

Beautiful capture. I am surprised the blue and gold macaw let you get so close while still keeping his face under his wing. They are usually very curious birds and want to see what is going on. Excellent composition here!!!
