Description

Mara Shylrathyn had searched the ruins carefully, and had finally found the hidden location of the Lich's dark tower. As she approached the front gates, it seemed to her that all of her life had been leading up to this point... to confront the Lich that had murdered her family and stolen her soul. She would reclaim it. It was her destiny... This is the second image in my "Mara's Soul" series (the first being "The Wrong Girl" in my gallery... almost put it in "Mixed Medium" there is so much postwork. Most of it is rendered in Bryce; the characters are all Poser but the clothing/weapons are all mine. Lots of postwork in Paint Shop Pro including hand-painting the hair. Special thanks to sirocco for taking to time to help me with this (check her tutorial out if you haven't already--it's well worth it!). Thanks for looking! Any comments/ideas/complaints/rankings are much appreciated!

Lookin good! The torch-fire and the fog beyond the gates are kinda unconvincing, perhaps make the fire brighter and the fog a bit softer? But I love the guards, and Mara's hair and clothing are great!
