Description

Though the image consists of 14 layers most of them are supplementary (for instance for backgrounds and shadows). Actually the Shield is formed by one layer for the outer circle and another one for the inner circle. Both are created by one and the same fractal formula. The inner defers slightly due to one changed function in the formula. No mappings (such as mirror, kaleidoscope etc. transformations) has been used. Totally 30 Cut-Outs and 6 gradient points.
