Description

Still playing with the Washington state DEM's. Wanted to make a coastal scene with clear atmo and translucent water. There is only a few meters of water according to the proportions of the terrain but the water transparency had to be set at close to 100 meters to show the overlay of the sea floor ! From left to right the picture displays very nice depth. You might consider reducing the verticle height; and, increasing the horizontal width for more of a panoramic view. As is, this is an all-over excellent picture.

I think the surface textures are excellent, and I agree with martinjbirk- looks very real back there.

Excellent surfaces and water!!!!! Maybe try increasing the angle of the sun to enhance the penetration of the light... Might show off the benthic stuff better. Agree with Martin, the distant islands are very very realistic!!
