this oak is is very large. I can just try to show you with these photos how large it is. The bottom one is from a diff angle and was pasted thought two diff filters. this is in front of Fredrick Larued Gateds home He lived from 1827 to 1897 in New Ibreae, La. he was a districk judge in the 1870's to 1880', and he develped a cotton seed oil business which was a meajor enterprised in the area. A fantastic oak and a stunning shot of it, Jocko :)) My favotite is the first one : such impressive to see this huge branches growing at such a distance from the tronc !!! and it is also a very good shot!! V

wow, what an excellent tree, the moss or whatever it is really drives this one home! for my money i'll take the b/w version, i love the contrast there, not taking anything away from the color version, that's an impressive photo just the same!!! very well done!!!!!

What a gigantic tree..so beautiful in all its might. Reminds me of farytales or fantasy stories.. and woow, what cool filters/effects you used here to produce the buttom picture, suddenly makes it into a beautiful graphics work and a totally different but just a cool expression. Excellent work!
