How close were we??? That close!!! We are in the same area from my last post
"More Heat" . In the picture #1, Terry takes a poke with his stick into the lava finger and it instantaneous lights up. If you notice Terry's legs, the front is turning red while the back is still his own color. His face was really red because of the heat. Picture #2, me. Terry calls me down to take a poke. The heat makes you do funny things or make funny faces, lol. We played with the lava for a little while and Terry takes his last pictures of this area. Just a note, it wasn't easy getting close to the lava with shorts. It actually burn the hair off our legs. So continues our adventure tomorrow. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Its nice to meet you Errol! Please do be careful!! That is so dangerous....yet I think we all want more laughs. Cooling lava looks awesome, like chrome. I wonder if the close up pic Terry is taking will be effected by the heat? Surely intense heat is no good for a camera. O.o...Brilliant work =)
