Description

After a long week at work we can all imagine relaxing in a place like this! Made with Vue 5 Esprit No Postwork A study in realistic lighting, using Global Radiosity lighting. Using procedural terrains for a total of only just over 900,000 polygons in the whole scene with around 450,000 of those in the poser model. Some complex textures were made, particularly to blend the sand and water. Thanks for looking -Jeff

Superb work - a man after my own heart - Poser and Vue together. The big giveaway on poser characters is the hair and the skin. In most cases i just draw or touch up the hair to add realism and I always use a more highly contrasted skin texture to avoid the manequin look. I love what you did on the shore line.

Excellent beach scene - I particularly like the rock formation on the left - the textures are unreal (as in REALLY GOOD!!) and your model looks very real! Well done - beautiful composition.

I went back on this one because really it has something captivating.. I'd say remove the background mountain , keep the girl (that is what makes the beach perfect ..lol) but I believe that the sand should be roughened around and near her - maybe even some foot prints .imho it would help to the integration character/landscape. don't touch the rock on the left, it is awesome! excellent work !
