Susan, this really is lovely and the flower texture looks so realistic. On the upload page, it tells you the sizes and as for the file size, I had to rack my brain to begin with. It isn't easy, just to let you know, you can have dimensions of your image, up to 4,000 x 4,000 in size, but a file size, no greater that 512 kb and it has to be saved as a jpeg. The thumbnail must be no bigger than 200 x 200 and the file size, no greater than 14.9 kb. My advice, is always aim for 1,000 x 900 and that way, the jpeg will save, without the need for compression, which in essence, can cause unsightly pixellation, to your images. For example, my latest posting has NO compression whatsoever and I think the file size, is 409 kb. Any bigger and it would have been a different story. Well done my friend. Hope you're feeling ok. Steve :o)

Really wonderful job on this sweetie...I just love the coloring :O) As for getting it bigger...you just go to Image...and then Image Size...make sure you have Constrain Proportions checked off...and then put in a larger size...you can go by pixels or you can change to percent and tell it to resize to say 150%...and when UR all done just go to File...Save For Web...and select jpg....and adjust the quality as needed to get under 512kb...anyway fab job and HUGE HUGE HUGS!!! ann :O)

Beautiful. I love the oil painting look and feel to this. It could very easily become a card or postcard or an advertisement for spring picture. Lovely work :)

Cool effect, Susan! Sorry about your mom...I've got mine moving in with me as soon as she sells her house. Worried about her health and her state of mind. She's 72. Take care and keep playing with your art!!

Very interesting work. Pic is not recognisable as a photo, but it's an amazing piece of art. Great colors, very vivid. Fantastic brush-like effect, looks almost like an oil-painted surface. bows Incredible work, congrats !

Ask Evie, I think she uses the same program and is familiar with it. Minor suggestion, shoot for 1000 by 750, 72 dpi. Adjust compression (or quality) to make a pic about 150k to 250k. The size is stated on the final image saved to disk. If you don't see the size, then right mouse click on it and look at it's properties. If you make a pic too large (disk space needed) of say 450k, no-one will look at it. Many images can be reduced a huge amount without noticable drop in quality. You have to begin with a big hi-res pic to start with. A 200x200 pixel image looks terrible (mosaic) blown up. Start big, work down. Anyway, superduper Image here Susan. Looks real professional and artistic. Kudos and keep em coming! Dave :^) VOTE
