Description

Found this young robin behind my house. I'm glad my neighbour hasn't seen me, lying on ground at 7 o'clock in morning taking shots :-) Thought how I could help her/him without touching, because there are so many cats around. But he/she was old enough to fly :-)))) Never thought that I could capture a free living bird with my 100mm lens, but well, sometimes luck is on your side... (Canon Eos300d, 100mm lens, f5.6, ISO800) Thanks for your interest !

Well done super shots of this young Robin. They do seem vulnerable when they leave the nest and spend most of their time on the ground but suppose there is some logic to it. :)

Looks like a well fed Robin chick. Super shots, esp the top one which really shows the detail of the feathers and down... you can barely see this chubby little fella's feet.

Hi Chris!!! Super Foto und der kleine Kerl ist fabelhaft getroffen. Ob Deine Nachbarn Dich gesehen haben???? Wahrscheinlich haben die genau, wie Du ein Foto gemacht. Allerdings von Dir wie du um 7 Uhr morgens nur in Unterhose vor dem Vlein liegst und das auch noch mit Cam. LOL !!!! Kennscht mich ja!!! Bei dem Bild sehe ich mich noch voll verschlafen frstken. ;-)))
