WOW!, the softness of the protrait and the details of the insects and seed heads are perfectly matched, very much in the Dutch flower painting tradition of life and death in cycles, beautifully done!

I've been sitting here, staring and staring, trying to come up with words, but you've managed to steal them all with such incredible emotion hugest hugs. There's such a serenity to this image, one that contradicts the usual harshness of red. Thank you so much for creating and sharing all that you do. :)

Cast adrift in the sea of ambiguity, a flush of distrust caressed by the coldest drops, while all around life begins and ends, crawling over her consciousness. As usual your work robs me of any sense of being able to do justice in a comment, so I just had to write from intuition! As usual, this is one to spend time with to let its power be absorbed. Thank you my friend huge hugs, it's always the greatest excitement getting an ebot from you. And the common thread of familiar symbols lends a feeling of each work being part of a greater whole, a kind of continuum :-D

A beautiful piece.

You've captured a beautiful emotion to this painting, divine work!

You're taking alot of interest in insects lately ,it's interesting.. I still see your personal raven symbol but it's a little more in the background. The eyes are very captivaying, drawing me in, they have a harshness that contrasts with the softness of the piece. I get the feeling that this young woman is a organiser, denying herself the indulgences of life to maintain others ability to have those indulgences. Maybe I'm just rambling though?

I've been straring this master piece. I lost my words. I found tears on my cheeks. The beauty here is as close perfection as it's possible. I've been thinking a bit :-) The lady here has decorated herself quite strangely - with pearl web woven of tears, with dying flowers, with beautiful night bugs. She shows us herself in her jewelry of life. Life filled tragedies. It could be a life far too hard to live but no. Her expression tells us she hasn't given up; she's angry, she's stubborn, yet suspicious... But she can still see the feather light seed of dandelion, hear the bird singing. And she hasn't lost her faith in beauty! --- It's quite astory but only one of those that can be seen in this picture! This art work has captured totally my eyes and my mind! Thank you, Bev, so much for this incredible experience! Thank you for creating and sharing this picture! :-)

...it's her left eye that pulls you in - and dominates this fine painting.

This one knocked the breath from me... it is just that powerful to my senses. I look at this and see the aftermath of a deep betrayal. I see in her eyes the embers of a cataclysmic emotional event that is nearing the end of its gestation. As always, you leave so much food for thought Bev... hats off to you my dear, you are a true master in my eyes.

Incredibly beautiful! I've viewed, studied, tried to meld with the image. Here's what I feel..."Seeing Red" has often been an expression of anger. I see the woman as Mother Nature with the look of anger at the destruction of nature and the creatures that depend on it. I feel the disgust and indictment of her look towards humanity. There is something tender about how the creatures & flowers appear to have a kind of dependence on Mother Nature and look to her for protection. I offer this comment in lieu of my inability to critic technique...which is obviously breathtaking. If you could get me to immerse myself so deeply, I'd say that is the highest compliment. V

Outside the fact that this is beautiful, artistic, perfection in color and application, fantastic subject matter, Im wondering how you did the spiderweb with water dropplets? The greatest compliment I can give is this it pure art. As for I feel, claridad said it best..
