Description

Not much of a story here... after all the water in my previous pictures, I wanted a more dry issue :-) I've played a lot with this scenery - many different camera angels, atmosphere settings and textures wanted to be tried out. Just right came the HIM/Spacesuit (Sixus1) and the Speedbike (Davo) - fantastic freebees, which impressed me a lot. Thanks for stopping by, your feedback is highly appreciated! Great to see you've posted a new image. Well done, Alex! Great job with the desert textures and the overall composition in general. The detail (stones and shrubbery) in the front give it a very realistic look. Maybe the planet in the back is a little bit too soft, but that might be my personal POV. :)))

I think your previous pictures have been better. Eg. "Conference room" and "asteroids 2"... This is not as lively as your other images... Perhaps it's because of the dry feeling in this image.

Thank you all for your kind comments! TheWingedOne: yes, the planet - I'm still struggeling a bit with transparencies in Vue. I was very happy when I finally had an appropriate ring (no alpha plane). Olmen: well, the scene could indeed be realized more dramatically... but somehow I liked the composition the way it is.
