Description

Negotiations with alien species are always difficult due to the varying requirements to the environment. Fortunately, the merfolk can share the human's atmosphere, which facilitates communication considerably... as long as the environment provides sufficient humidity. In fact, this picture is a kind of unplanned side product of my previous picture "The Touch". There I experimented with lower water levels, but decided to use that effect for a different picture - the one you see here. One of the main challenges in this picture was to find a balance between the varying atmospheres and the lighting. Hope I got it right somehow... Thanks for your visit, hope you enjoyed your stay!
