This might be the worst photograph I will post in this series but it might be the most important: The building in the middle with the smoking chimneys and neon sign was the Lenin Electrical Factory. As you can see, it was still functioning in 1985. A friend of mine* told me told me that I would never understand the Russian Revolution until I went behind the Moskva Hotel (since torn down thank goodness), looked over the Moskva River and saw this factory. It was the first power station built in Moscow after the revolution and the neon sign was the first in the city. It translates as

have no idea what the hell you're talking about, the worst in the series??? this is a fantastic shot composed very well! i especially like the traffic going by on the street below!!! very well captured!!!

Do u realize how valuable this shot is?! This factory does no longer exist but on ur film!!! How cool is that!! I've noticed from ur serie so far that there's not much green over there!! Trees, grass, parks! Everything looks so grey and depressive! Another fascinating shot and infos here!! Thx so much for that!
