Description

Lava pictures of the same area of "Lava Waves" but at different times. We spent a good amount of time at this area playing with and celebrating with Hi-5's of this lava find. We had a lot of stories to tell with each photo. Terry was very willing to continue our walks to the second lava to the sea but I decided that we had enough pictures and maybe we should turn back for safety reasons. "Pau" in Hawaiian mean finished or end. Judging by the amount of heat waves all around us, I didn't think we would have made it thru. The earth was just radiating with intense heat waves that no one else came where we were. They all turned back. Tomorrow is another day and we are already making plans to return for another lava adventure. For tomorrows post, Terry will pose with the lava flow and so ending our "STORY" of this lava adventure. I'll be posting a little more pictures after this and hope you all enjoy it. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Just damn daring here Errol...thanks for a great series...I truly missed a golden opportunity here. Excellent capture! The top one I can feel the heat your so close, the bottom one has a beauty all it's own with the rippling lava starting to harden. Well seen and well captured! V Much Aloha to you!

Red glowing parts almost look like gems, always fascinating to see Mother Nature 'at work' - nevertheless take care of possible outbreaks on future expeditions! Regards Lutz

Amazing pictures my friend!Wonderful abstractions! But it's getting a little bit too hot for me for comfort! What type of shoes do you wear to get so close to the action? As for me I prefer playing in the snow! It's much cooler ! :)Have a great day!

A real life monster - with a dual personality - Like heaven and hell - it both creates and dystroys - This is such a primal capture yet beautiful !

Now this is really good. Kind of dangerous not knowing where the flow is going. Great captures.

Very entertaining series, but... take care! Lava is not harmless and getting burned is not the souvenir you'd like to take with you leaving these places! Thank you for sharing these wonderful shots, they're very special!
