Description

OK I painted this one over ..but thought hard on it and decided to leave it as is.. I am trying to expand my horizens with photography inspired by many great photographers on here.. BUT its a big part of who I am. You see, I have always seen faces in things ..Last summer I sat out on my Tiki Poarch and painted over 100 rocks with my children for fun summer projects got all the kids in the nieghborhood looking at rocks - the shapes of them and all of a sudden everyone was noticing rocks and bringing them over LOL i have this overwhelminly HUGE pile of rocks that I havn't gotten to yet.. LOL I was in a cave with my children Sunday I said look at that face over there!!, no one was interested or EVEN saw anything 'cept a dark boring cave .. at first I was looking at an indian cave painting but was in awe of the face and shot this... Thank you again Zacko for your help again ...your talent has a brilliance which truley inspires me to no end (can't say it enough-you will be famous someday..!! Just something I wanted to share for fun. Can you see him?...!! hes smiling to the right ..i even see a toungue comming up outta his mouth like he just had dinner ..some big stalatite or something!! LOL!! Yhis represents using your immagination to see things that most miss.. thanks for all your comment on my flowerbird i just posted.. means allot cause I am seeing a new world open up to me .. now when I go out with my camera -I see it all differantly ..I notice LIGHT!! ..and I look for light dark and contrast ....IT is all new ( used to just take mainly pics of family and now I AM seeing the world in a whole new perspective!!- like a child..in wonder and enchanchment- discovering!! thanks for your time and care!! hugs to all! ~KIMMERS!!

Oh I saw the face straight away. LOL I see faces EVERYWHERE now...once you start it's kinda addictive and surprisingly sometimes comforting. We owned beautiful limestone caves in Ireland. There was a face of a stone dragon at the entrace to one of the caves..I could see it as clear as if it had been carved. ;-) and there are always faces in trees ..and all things old. BRILLIANT picture!.

Dear Kimarie, you're starting to scare me now - keep up this seeing things everywhere and people will start calling you Meredith!! ;-) Cameras are magical devices - not so much for the images they capture but the changes that bring in us. I've gotten to the point where a camera is as essntial to me as my cell phone - I'm rarely without either. There is always something to be photographed - our world is very interesting - and filled with wonder - but - we have to learn to look at it! A camera makes us look! Excellent work and thought provoking as always! Love, Meredith

Yes, I love this idea.. I little more contrast would be nice, but the originality adds a lot.
