I have no understanding of your original meaning but I do see awesome art before me no matter what you mean to say. Fantastic image!

The first thing that popped into my head was the quote below.. 1 Peter. 2:24 "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." ...I know it is a slight play on a word and I don't suppose it was what you were thinking about at the time? but for me it seems to have resonance with your image. The image seems to be emblematic of something we should have graduated away from over the last two thousand years, not be marching relentlessly towards with arms open in gestures of embracing. Your work is never gratuitous and never without sincerity.

Novus Ordo Seclorum is also the sentence you find on the dollar bill. My take on this is Pax Americana is achieved through lots of bloodshed and death, all in the name of money. But like for everybody else, that's just my personnal interpretation. Great picture !

Critical art was always my favorite "style" which I love to consume and create. Recently I've come to enjoy reactions upon such art. Most people just interperate it in a way that fits them best, despite of other possibilities, and other extremists (if patriotic or religious) react almost every time in very primitive ways, like cornered animals. Therefore, thanks alvinylaya for this picture. I enjoyed the message as well as it's effect.
