Description

Canon EOS 10D, Canon 28-135IS lens at 53mm ISO 100, 1/500 sec at f5 It's very peculiar that the flower on a water hyacinth only blooms for one day, and then it is gone. My mother-in-law is a school teacher, and she called me one day asking if I could photograph this flower that had bloomed at her school. I was glad to oblige, and I felt rewarded to see such brilliant colors in a flower. It would have been a shame to miss it.

Excellent shot! You know you've been one of my favorites for awhile now and this is why! I shot some today...I am taking them tomorrow to be developed. Keep your fingers crossed. I am very hopeful for about 4 or 5 really good ones.
