Description

Canon EOS 10D, Sigma 20mm f1.8 lens ISO 800, 1/100 sec at f8 I took this photo in my brother's backyard on Thanksgiving Day 2003. While the Sigma 20mm lens is not a macro, it will let you focus as close as about 7-inches away from the subject, so it's the closest thing to a macro that I have... I have been away on vacation in Washington DC, and have just returned this evening. This is the most beautiful time of the year in Washington because the cheery trees are blossoming, and a celebration takes place for the entire week. I will be sharing some photos from Washington starting on Wednesday. To those people who have sent me mail the last few days, I will get caught up soon.... thanks

Beautiful presentation.I particularly like the angle you chose. I have a macro and it's nothing compared to this.I look forward to your 'cheery'(sic) tree celebration!
