Description

Something a little different Today..this is Hiro,Aikos new Boy.i thought they should be together... this is one copmpletely versatile character, and seams to be missing some of the muscle problems that Michael has.His chest muscles connect a little more to his arms and his trapazoids dont get so out of hand..and i dont see as much of that donut shoulder either...He uses V3 M3 A3 SP3 David and the girl textures and can also use Davids clothes and be morphed between Anime(Hiro) and Real(David)..they got me ..i am going to have to go and get David now.. Dals rick texture on the first image,Harliegh by Mint and mayhem textures in the second image and an ecstacy texture in the last..top 2 have yosemite photos as backgrounds. a note on poser6..i am having a real hard time turning some dials, like adjusting the blink dials and most of the morph dials are extra sticky, very hard to get to work, this is also happening with the lighting dials..and i have had a few lock ups too..so the program doesnt seam like its anymore stable..and all the hype about the Ambient Oclusion..i can do better by placing lights were they are needed, there is way to much trial and error involved in setting up ambient oclusive lights..i do think the Characters alone were worth the price of the upgrade.just to have good characters to play with in the face room gives you more control of your characters than any i know of..i have spent alot of time working with it this week as my phonelines have been down due to a slide..and this is only an oppinion made from my first week with poser6..hopefully i will learn how to work around some of these shortcommings.. another note..my laptop that has all the required memory needed to run poser6 can just barely run with this program in it..i have only gotten 1 render not to lock up so far...and about 30 that did lock up...so alot more memory and prossesing power is actually needed.

Awesome images, Bill! Well worth the time you invested, I'd say! You've made him look so gorgeous! I'm also having a terrific time playing with him! And you're so right: he is the most versatile figure in my arsenal (well, along with A3, and for the same reasons). Take care around those slides! hugs Ish

I really hate it when my trapazoids act up, it's very embarrassing! lol! Superb trio of images once again...I love it when you do that! Hiro looks awesome and the texture and morphs are incredible! I haven't messed with Aiko yet, I'm a bit behind on that. P6 runs pretty well here, although navigating the library is so slow with a massive runtime!! I've had some problems with IBL and AO, and there is a lot of trial and error. Seems it doesn't get the same effect each time. I just can't believe the details in these images, they are all fantastic and so well done! Your characters are always amazing and you have a very sharp eye with textures and morphs! Keep fiddling with P6, I guess that's all we can do until the next SR patch is released! Superb artwork!

Yeah Bill my P5 does that also .More memory .When I load alot into a scene .It really hangs up .I know my problem is to many background programs and poser can suck memory dry .These are all awesome images

Awesome! I just bought Hiro as well, though I haven't used him yet. Going by your images though, he looks absolutely amazing. I'm also glad I'm not the only one finding 'bugs' in Poser 6. :P Outstanding artwork! :)

Amazing werk the three of them S I especially love the one in the middle (so romantic in their adoring gazes to one another) and the last one (that texture looks fantastic on him S) Outstanding werk despite the setbacks S

Hiro looks like a cool character and you've done some excellent renders with him! I was really hoping CL fixed all of Poser 5's problems but it sounds like 6 isn't much better.

Great characters Bill -- thanks for giving us the low down on these. It looks like David might be a good investment. Too bad about the phone lines - try high speed cable or satellite.

Sorry to hear of all your Poser 6 woes :-( I've only played around in it once or twice, so I have no real experience in it yet...I guess I'm an old dog who hates learning new tricks LOL All that aside, I love all the images, but I do believe the second one would have to be my favorite :-)

Dear Bill, boy oh boy do you know how to push my buttons! Start with Poser 6 - I visit something like 200 galleries - and probably 150 of those use Poser - I haven't seen anyone yet that is not having similar grief with it. Why the dickens are they shipping a program that is still 6 months of development away from working properly - or even better - why is anyone buying it? My professional life has been spent in electrical engineering and computer science - and a lot of that has been software development - how can people turn out such awful work? The whole thing is totally beyound me. I was at a site yeasterday that had 160 million polygons that Vue rendered in an hour! A medium res Meredith at 65 thousand polygons takes half a day to render in 5 - and I haven't even tried 6. AND - then there is DAZ - that still doesn't know where the joints are supposed to be - that creates texture mappings that are asymmetrical and look like a skinned alien. Oh well, it's probably best that Little Meredith shut up and go to bed! Love, Meredith
