Description

* Wind over my face, silences like prayers for peace... Will our hearts keep their promises, made today among seable tears? Or will time running erase the words, the unsaid ones too, that we all seem to believe in these days of sudden despare? All I know is that mankind wants love... All I ever felt is that we can be brothers and sisters cos we all just want to live... So here's my hand, I show you my heart with smile sincere... Take it, and let's walk together: I see no colours, I see every colour as part of the rainbow of life: our languages are one just in the end, and we have to start singin together for a new era of understanding, learning how to make respect growing, like perfumed flowers that will break weapons of hate among us. * ------------ Autoshot on train running taken with Canon IXUS 400, no postwork, available light. ---------------- Hi everyone! I am publishing this picture formerly titled "Running Tracks Meli" and given past year to Synapse for a postwork (that still be in my living room as beloved gift from him) to send you all some salutation for the incoming 2 months. Like some of you might know from my site blog, I have been in Rome during the past week for Pope's celebrations and funerals. The apartment Stef had when in Rome workin was just aside Vatican, yes,in that road where every television showed queing of hundreds thousands people past days. We couldn't miss the chance. Well, I haven't lived that as "religious fanatism". Nor I had taken pics.. why take them?Images hardly could explain the atmosphere of soul that deeply, especially in such a moment of thoughts belongin to merely heart. I personally tried to live everything like a soulful moment. Silence, and reflections. I met people from the world. There were non religious people there, I met muslims and jewish genuinely touched by the event and by the man. Like I wrote in the blog, I wasn't agreeing with all the former Pope did: I found his vision about women and sex belonging to Middle age. But I admired his constant, unbreakable, totally spiritual and true wish for peace, tolerance and communication among peole like an extraordinary sign of greatness, especially in bad times of religious fanatisms from every side. I wrote all in my blog, so I won't repeat myself here about the matter.. if you want know more, read in there more :). What I want you to know is that I have made up my mind in the past days and I want to spend some times these incoming months doing real things for kids. A volunteer trial, something that won't be made with religious associations, but something anyway mattering, hopefully for the kids first. Therefore, for a couple of months I won't draw nor paint. I'll try to paint "making life worthwhile" for others. You can write me mails, I won't be totally absent from internet , I just give up my artistic hobbies for 60 or 70 days, I am sure you all understand me fully. I'm gonna miss your art, but I am sure when I get back here I will see everything with eyes new and a heart more pulsing in the right chord. And art vision will shine even more, I am sure :) Take care everyone :) See you soon, and don't forget to write me mails in the maintime. :) Luv Luv Luv :) Your Meli :)

Ti voglio bene Melania baci Orietta

Once again we meet with our thoughts, way to be, to share, to see things ;=) You have told what I have told, nothing more nothing less (speaking about the Pope, feelings and what other). I didn't know you were in Rome; godness Meli, it is in one of my renderings, me too I felt the strong wish to be there, with people from all the world, without the religion matter causing problems. Who does care... Catholics, Musulmans... Who does care. Just women and men, that is what we all we are. And let's say with a bit of proudness (more than a bit), I feel so proud to have meet you like a sister, a daughter; and am feeling proud to know you are Italian like am I. And you know what I mean, is not a flag matter! (may these burning all togheter lol). Meli, I totally agree with your choice, and if health problems wouldn't cause me problems I would do the same. Which is the reason I will move differently, with the same spirit of yours. Go Meli, go and help kids; meanwhile helping them you'll help yourself and your soul. Too many are forgetting about the others, someone have to start to be less selfish. Love ya... that coffee we will have to drink one day will be the best one I'll have ever drunk. You have phone, addy, email addy....... heck do what ya want, my door is open to you. A lot of kisses my little dear... ti voglio un bene dell'anima, sei un essere prezioso! ;=)

I was hoping to see you on TV. Meli in motion like the photo. It's so close like I'm looking at you in person, this photo. Yes, that man was an extreme advocate of peace. A loss for this planet - a gain for where he goes. All my wishes of luck, skill, patience, and strength for your mission to reach out. I'm sure you will be in their hearts before one week is out. They don't forget things so quickly nor are as fickle as adults, be gentle with their hearts because they give it fully with no defenses. Enjoy and we'll meet again soon. -Chris

Beautiful poem Meli. I have always believed the same. I wish success in going out to teach the children. they are our best hope for a new and better world. Remember always that every life you touch is like dropping a stone in a pond and with children the ripples go the farthest. My prayer of good luck goes out to you.

Eccellente e molto emozionale ritraggo Meli!!! Mi piacciono le soavi luci ed ombre che sottolineano accuratamente le tessiture e mettono di rilievo il dettaglio del capello!!!! Molto espressivo viso!!!
