Excellent job you've done on this landscape. The trees look very real.

Beautiful, amazing, outstanding ! Looks like a part of rain forest or something, very real. Bold colors, fantastic composition. The only think I really don't like is this butterfly, somehow it doesn't fit there. But I still LOVE this pic. BRAVO !!!

Those trees are out of this world man, great job. Are they 2D or real 3D trees?

They are 2d, its dead easy attempting to make a realistic picture like this, but the trees in the background pop out of the water, and that is very unrealistic. It looks nice at first. Needs work

You're right, they do look rather flat, but only if you look at the shoreline. My suggestion would be to have the distance between the trees and the camera vary a bit. Naturally as in all things you would have to play with it a bit. Also the foliage nearest the camera looks a bit pixelated to me. I'm picking, but this is overall very, very good! Well done.

Surely you can do better than this. If you're going to use landscape and environment programs, try making an environment, instead of just throwing in a photo and thinking that we'll think you made photo-realistic trees. Also, the material for your one, single terrain just stinks, it's obvious you used the same texture for your trees on the ground. Is this supposed to be a joke?

I'm going to have to agree. The photo 2D plane works sometimes, but not in this image. Granted, it looks good to an untrained eye... and dont use photos as textures in this manner. Also, your terrain has a square edge just under the water, try clipping black in your terrain editor.
