Dear David, Someone visiting this Renderosity Community would see an on-line art and writers gallery. It is only after you have taken the plunge and applied for citizenship that the true nature of this magical place unfolds. In the last 24 hours, I have posted two images and that is all a visitor would see. Its only from within this city as a resident that you find its true nature. In those same 24 hours, I have visited with many friends and had many conversations ranging from the poignant sadness of Taps at a funeral, to dynamic clothing, to domestic abuse, to EMC complications, to sickness of ourselves and friends, to DAZs dragon, to the uncertainties of being out of work, to the joys of butterflies, to the sadness at the death of a pet, to photon tracing and caustics, and most particularly, to the real picture of Renderosity as a world circling mesh of friends. It is with awe, amazement, and delight that I find in every direction scores upon scores of open arms and helping hands. Think of this Renderosity World and contrast it with the real world. How many people can you stop on the street and ask for help? But here, I barge into new galleries everyday and pound off IMs to the proprietors with questions about how they did everything and Ive never failed to get a warm, welcoming, and helpful response and Ive never failed to make a new friend. Where else can you find such good people? Our words and images fly out across oceans, crisscross countries, continents, and time zones and all are received with a warm smile of camaraderie. Ive been here barely two months, and if someone had told me the day before I made my first post and met someone named Shardz, that people like you David and all of you Renderosity citizens could exist, I could never have brought myself to believe it. Thank you David, and thank all of you, for being what you are! AND Im out of room! So, your picture is a Shardz thats as good as it gets! Love, Meredith

I've added You and Meredith to my Fave list a few days back. It's folks like the two of you and many, many others here at Rosity that make this such a great place to take your shoes off and sit a spell. So many interesting people and ideas and talents.. After the death of my spouse, it was this place that pulled me out of a slump and got me motivated again. Thanks to everyone's kindness and support, I have a home away from home now. And friends that span the globe. Looking forward to getting to know you better in the next few weeks. A quick browse of your gallery has shown me that you are a true artist. I agree with you 100 percent David. I have said it myself that Renderosity is a wonderful community because of the fantastic, talented, warm hearted people who reside here!
