I await to find I'm not at all where I should be. And it feels I'm getting to the end. And it's hard to figure out what's real and what's pretend. To break from what we're tied to. And I am still inside you. * From the new NIN album "With Teeth" available May 5, 2005. *~* Image Notes *~* For those who know me, I am suffering greatly in loss, pain, and animosity. I received the awesome Cimona package from Sutekidane and it fit this image so well, and as time would have its' course, I used her in a way that is fitting to my feelings. Cimona is so awesome, and she comes with the second skin body mesh (that I added a dirty gold overlay to here). I also edited her eyes to purple; my favorite color. I'll have to do another image with her at another time, but for now this is what I want. Rene's character is superb and really deserves more recognition. Please check this lovely character out; for the very low price, she offers quite a bit of mention! I am very amazed at this package and I think more up and coming artists should be supported here. I always give support to artists and merchants that are just shy of the Top 100 of today, but I believe Rene will be a force to be reckoned with! After all, I was absolutely nothing here when I started (and I'm still nothing! LOL!), but your incredible support and kindness makes me feel so important here. I love each and every one of you for creating the most eye catching and intelligent artwork that I have enjoyed for five months now, not to mention your selfless and caring souls that keep me pushing forward. Dear David, I don't speak the language, but the image kind of yells the feeling. The background looks like the nightime fireball from the Apache h-bomb test! And add in a little "poor Yorrick" makes for a really powerful greeting card. A very fancy lady standing untouched in the scene of ruin. Give it some time - time is the great healer. I waited until this morning to comment on it, because I wanted to make sure I had enough time to say what I wanted. First off, let me share my deepest sympathies for you in the loss of your fiance, I wasn't aware that you were going through such a traumatic time. If you need an eye to read your words, feel free to send me an IM. Now, about the art. I use words like, fantastic, awesome, cool, nice but none of them seem to be adequate enough to express what I'm looking at. Obviously a lot of time and effort was put into the work above. My intepretation of it is, an individual who appears to be in hell. However, they seem to be coping with the situation and maybe drawing strength from the torment. Also, they seem to be producing their own light to maybe draw them away from the fire and brimstone. Perhaps this is your way of working through your own inner hell and coping with your own demons. Take the pain and accept it for what it is and grow stronger from it. As far as the technical side of the art, I'd like to know how you achieved what looks to be like a lava flow! That is superb. The lighting, choice of outfit, pose and expression all blend perfectly with the firey surroundings. I think this might be the longest comment I've ever made. Makes me wonder now how much space they offer for people to write on! If I could rank this higher than excellent, I would. Well done. V
