Description

Thanks for viewing !! :o) -- The same thing goes for bees and hoverflies that mimic bees, see "Hoverfly Mimicry #1". Only these hoverflies mimic bees and not wasps. The insect in the picture is a BEE ;o) I have no shot of a bee mimic so heres a pic i found on the net: Bee Mimic. Excuse the "poor shot"!!!!Have you been bitten by one of those insectes?:) That's a great shot my friend! "Bees" wont stay too long in the same place for someone to photograph them,you have to be quick and ready!I admire your great patience and wonderful skills as a photographer! {A+} on this one!

Wow, really neat how the mimic looks so much like a bee. It boggles the mind to figure out how evolution managed this. Great clarity and color in this image.
