Description

Thank you for all your kind comments on the Hiking together series! I'll pass all your good wishes to my uncle! Who was talking about loneliness!? LOL! With you loneliness no longer exists! :) Leaving the Netherlands for enjoying spring in the Alps makes me aware with every 100 meters of elevation summer is a week shorter. And spring starts later here. The end of april and begin of may is a perfect time for enjoying spring in the mountains. It's a joy to see beeches starting with their new leaves while firs have needles all the time. The differences in tones are never that clear as in early spring. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 300 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Yup thats right with summer time. I live on 1000mtrs above sea, and nature needs here more time than in the valleys . In the valley where I work its much greener for now and some trees are already blossoming. Great shot here with all the different tones !

Heeeyyy, I like this one! There's just a slight lack of contrast. I think you could increase it a bit. But the shot is cool!

Really lovely blend of greens. I love the spring - all full of hope, and the temperatures (over here) are usually very acceptable once the chilly winds have gone...

Spring is beautiful, but it's a wonder in the mountains :) You are so lucky to see it in the Alps :)) I love the tenderness of the greens making a wonderful patchwork :)) Wonderful, Jan-Carel
