Description
Here is an wip of an image I am doing for a contest on cg talk. I need some advice on this so I will start a thread to ask for some advice but I thought I would post it here as I haven't posted an image in a long while.

I agree!Great work!I hope you will post a larger picture to see more dails...It looks great!May be some lite volumetric light would add a touch of mystic atmosphere in your scene! It's my humble opinion, may be i'am wrong...What do you think about that? Friendly ! Kilal I forgot ranking:-) Exellent

Kilal, Yes I am going to try and add volumetric light , that is what advice I am seeking in the thread message I posted here at carrara's renderosity forum. Toxe, are you saying I could be endlessly adding stuff to this so you dont see me being finished for a long while? If so, yes it is going to be a while until its done. I have to add the foreground figure model and then a couple statues to model. I have the figure modeled but have to model the clothes still. Thanks for the comments

Looking great, i like it! These scenes do take quite a while you almost have to do enormous amounts of home work on the apperance of the inside of a church, i found out that if you look on the web they have the layout and pictures for most major cathedrals and their art work, i have been working on a scene similar to yours now for almost a month now and it should arrive arround May 1st. I to need a solution to my lighting issues.EXCELLENT Pleasing subject matter.

Early morning? A place like that must be impossible to keep clean. Maybe some of that dust might reflect the light as it shines in on the floor and wall.

Why not use a "Gel" image with a Spotlight, for the stainglass windows? (only the one window that hits the cross dosnt seem to feel large enough) Also like another user stated, Dust! they are usualy quite dusty... Grait work!

Great image. I too would like to see a larger version. A small suggestion (and you may have this already in mind) - if the candles were lit either side of the altar it would add interest, with perhaps a brass crucifix on the altar? I feel the focus of the picture is a little empty as it is.

Falcon, I like the idea of the brass crucifix on the altar. I was going to add a large figure of Jesus on the cross , which was going to be a main focus of attention. I was also going to add a large statue on the left side of the image that sits on the molding. Hopefully that makes the image work. Odessey, thanks look forward to your image. leecant/danap_n_mt, I hope to add the dusty look and I am going to make the Stained glass window taller. I will post a larger image when I have more done, thanks for the comments.
