Description

About 30 minutes before this picture was taken, a Russian Guy and his two woman friends started to follow me. He wanted to see the lava entering the sea but I told him it wasn't happening. He wanted to cross to the other side of this lava field but I told it would be to dangerous. About the time of this picture, I heard something moved that startled me. Sounded like something big moved as if dragging Hollow Cement Tile across the floor. I looked around but couldn't see anything move. About 15 seconds later, the same sound again. I thought it was best for us all to move to another location and that we did. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

This series is by far one of the best I ever saw. For someone living in a non-volcanic area, these pictures are astonishing. Plus you do know how to create tension! I'm already looking forward to the new upload.

Oh yes, better take some distance when unexpected things happen! Perfect story, it makes me sweat but since you still post them I know you're still in one piece! :)

Monika, I dont know what and where exactly that sound came from. I assume that the lava pressure was pusing some large rock aside. Just a guess.
