Description

This is Max. He's also known as Pooh Max (as in Winnie the Pooh) and as Jar Jar Max (when his ears are flopped over he looks like Jar Jar from Star Wars I). Max is the complete opposite of Winnie the Pooh. He's the grumpiest dog in the world. He snarls and chases the other dogs and is generally just grumpy. We love him though. Max is part dachshund (Weener dog) and part Basset Hound. He's the size of a weener dog but with the barrel chest, feet, ears, and snout of a basset. The Max Story: He was at a Pet Smart adoption day (animals from the local pound are brought to Pet Smart to be adopted out). So many people picked him up and held him but put him back in the cage and he so wanted to find a home. His days were numbered so we brought him home with us. We knew what his mixture was so he'd fit in good. Thanks for checking him out.

Poor Max. Everyone is commenting on Owen, Roofus, and Chance's pictures but no one has a left a comment for you. I love my little Maxer the Pooh cause he's fluffy like a teddy bear.
