I couldn't resist posting this. Before coming home from my little trip, I went out to find a teddy bear to bring back for my wife. I bought this little cutie at the Smithsonian gift shop. It is a teddy bear dressed in the cherry blossom theme, complete with a Japanese kimono. The cherry trees around Washington were a gift from the Japanese people, and the official teddy bear is within that tradition. "Cherry Bear" is standing with another one of our favorite teddy bears.
Thanks for your comments on Cherry Blossoms and the other photos I posted from my recent trip to Washington during the time the cherry trees were in bloom.
