Description

Have you ever taken a shot that you like and it comes out all wrong? I really wanted to photograph inside this beautiful church, but unfortunately it was locked. My only hope was a shot through one of the small panes of glass in the leaded windows. The result was a lot of flare, overexposure and a near hopeless digital image as you can see. In Paint Shop Pro I made a copy to clone from and manipulated it by various means. I then saved each manipulation as a back-up image. I cloned bit by bit from each onto the master copy until I got the result I wanted. (See further back in my gallery for 1st Paint Shop Pro Tip). It took a long time, but it was worth it for me and shows what can be achieved with a little patience and lots of trial and error. You can even clone from B&W (Greyscale) so long as you leave it as the same colour depth. So go on rescue some of your own! The church of St Edith at Anwick is about 4

I love this excellent and hard work of yours. I am afraid I am not fond of that most ugly plastic chairs (it is not your fault but 'someone' forgot to respect the whole history and architecture style) !

v impressed by your capacity to rescue this picture - especially since the plastic chairs must date back to... Thomas a'Becket? (sorry - feeling silly - seriously great work - I know how time consuming it can be) Charles
